Music

They said I sang well. I used to love feeling the vibrations of my voice against the insides of my throat. More than that, I loved how they were strong enough to thwart the barrier of my skin and palpitate against my palm. That very palm sensed my heart-beat as well, but my sound usurped that sign of life.

It was my life.

I would rather breathe in music.

  1. And somehow I stumbled on to this today: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8yTUdhHTmac

Essentially it is this: take a stereo recording (two different audio signals each for left and right speakers) and plot a graph where each (x,y) corresponds to voltage being applied to each speaker (left and right).
And if you draw the points really fast (which this oscilloscope is doing - near a million times a seconds), you actually get to see the awesomeness of music!

Now someone should do this taking input from two microphones attached to both his ears, and we could then "see" what our brain sees while localizing as s/he turns his head around towards and away from the sound source.
